We Are Not Alone.

I am a disabled dad. I asked public offices in Georgia for the help the ADA promises. I asked in writing, and I kept every answer. Some answers never came.

Since this site went up, other people have written to me with stories of their own. If you asked for an ADA accommodation and got silence, a runaround or a flat no, tell me what happened. You do not need a lawyer. You do not need every date. Tell it the way you remember it.

Where your story goes. When you press Send, what you type goes to the ADA Matters website, which saves it as a private record that only ADA Matters can open, and sends a copy to info@adamatters.com. We send you one email back to confirm we got it.

Nothing is published without your written permission. You choose below. If you pick private, we will not publish your story. We use it only to review what you sent and contact you if needed, subject to the handling described in our Privacy Policy. You can change your mind at any time by writing to info@adamatters.com.

This page has no tracking, advertising or analytics scripts. Sending this form does not file a complaint with any government office.

I am a disabled dad, not your lawyer. This is not legal advice. Please seek an attorney for help with your situation. I do not give, and am not allowed to give, legal advice.

Before you send. Your name is optional. The form asks for an email address so we can confirm we got your story. We do not publish your email address. ADA Matters can see it. Please do not send medical records, Social Security numbers, unredacted identification, confidential legal documents or private information about another person, such as a home address or health details. A short account in your own words is enough to start. Choosing “You may publish my story” or “Publish without my name” gives permission. It is not a promise that ADA Matters will publish your story. To ask for access to, correction of or deletion of what you sent, email info@adamatters.com. The Privacy Policy explains the rest.

Fields marked (required) must be filled in. Everything else is optional.

May we publish your story? (required)

Thank You. We Got It.

Your story reached ADA Matters. We sent a confirmation to the email you gave. Nothing is published without your written permission.

Want to file a complaint with the government? This form does not do that. You can file here:

U.S. Department of Justice, file an ADA complaint

State of Georgia ADA Coordinator’s Office, contact page

One thing to know: in its own words, the State ADA Coordinator’s Office “is not an enforcement agency.” It can advise, but it cannot make another office act.

Correction, October 19, 2026: this page said stories go through Make.com to a Microsoft OneDrive spreadsheet. That was wrong. Stories sent through this form are saved as private records on the ADA Matters website.
