One Sentence the Bar Would Not Write

The Bar admitted the submissions had been received and left out of the file. It used one sentence to acknowledge the oversight. It never wrote the one sentence that would have corrected the dismissal.

The dismissal said no rebuttal was received. The admission said the rebuttal was received. Both cannot describe what happened.

In the Bar’s own email, the blame came first. The apology came five paragraphs later, one sentence long: “I apologize for the oversight.” The sentence correcting the dismissal never came at all.

An admission that changes nothing is not a correction.
