March 13, 2026: Gallagher Bassett Says the Extra Claims Were a Mistake

The seven claim notices that filled my inbox in 48 hours were, in the adjuster’s own words, a mistake by the intake department. Here are both emails from that morning.

What it is

Two emails from Belinda Boscoe, Senior Resolution Manager, Gallagher Bassett, twelve minutes apart on the morning of March 13, 2026. The first says the matter is still under review. The second explains the seven claim numbers: the intake department had set my emails up as new claims by mistake.

Why it matters

Every later description of my correspondence as too much, too often, or harassment starts with this admission. The volume of claim notices came from their system, not from me. I wrote back the same morning asking for an ADA contact, a phone call, and one plain answer about claim structure. That request is its own exhibit.

What it shows

In writing, from the adjuster: “The numerous emails that you have sent to the claim intake department were mistakenly set up as new claims.” The extra numbers were voided. The review would be finished “sometime next week.” The next word on coverage came nineteen days later, on April 1.

What it does not show

Any answer to the accommodation questions I asked that day. Neither email mentions disability, accommodation, or a contact for either.

The numerous emails that you have sent to the claim intake department were mistakenly set up as new claims. All of your correspondence is clearly regarding this one matter and is considered one claim.

The claim intake personnel were understandably under the impression that you were submitting multiple claims. The claim intake email you have is only to be used for reporting new claims and should not be copied on your correspondence in reference to this same matter and emails sent should not be addressed to them unless you are submitting a new claim regarding a new incident.

All claim numbers that were set up after your initial report of this incident have been voided. Please only use the claim number that I gave you when this was first reported to us.
