Requests I Made That Were Ignored:
Every email I addressed to Chris Harvey that his mailbox showed as opened got some reply: my April 24 demand (answered April 28), my April 29, 1:14 PM email (answered 3:41 PM), my July 15 request (answered July 16 with the ADA promise he has not kept) and my September 9 preservation notice (acknowledged September 11). So no request addressed to him can be listed here as opened and ignored. The five emails his mailbox opened and he never answered were ones he was copied on, and those are in the timeline above. My May 6, 2026 email addressed to him returned no read receipt; Monika Franklin answered it on May 7. Chris Harvey’s last email to me was September 11, 2026. As of October 17, 2026.
Complaints Filed Against Chris Harvey:
No complaint naming Chris Harvey personally has been filed, as of October 17, 2026. These are the complaints I filed about the agency he runs, with him copied or named, and what came back.
- ADA grievance to Georgia POST. Filed August 21, 2026, at 1:59 PM, with POST’s ADA Coordinator, Chris Harvey copied. What came back: on August 27, 2026, a letter from Assistant Attorney General Paul Jay Pontrelli, “as legal counsel to POST,” granting two of my requested modifications and ending: “Thus, your ADA Title II grievance is denied.” On September 22, 2026: “POST disputes your claims, and its August 27, 2026 determination stands.” Read about the decision
- Request to withdraw and reissue that decision. Filed September 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM, with POST’s ADA address, Chris Harvey copied. What came back: on September 11, Meghan Fail wrote, “This acknowledgment confirms receipt only. It is not a substantive response and does not reopen any matter already decided.” I renewed the demand on October 16, 2026, to the State’s lawyer, with him copied. The entire reply: “Received”. Read the request
- Request for help to the State ADA Coordinator’s Office about Georgia POST. Filed August 5, 2026. What came back: on August 7, 2026, “The person responsible for ADA Title II compliance at Georgia POST is Meghan Fail.” Read the answer
Chris Harvey’s Clearance:
No office has reviewed Chris Harvey himself, because no complaint names him. The only decision on my ADA grievance against the agency he runs came on August 27, 2026, from the State’s lawyer, who wrote that he reviewed it “as legal counsel to POST” and copied Chris Harvey. That letter says: “Thus, your ADA Title II grievance is denied.” As of October 17, 2026, no office has reviewed how Chris Harvey handled my ADA requests.
