The Disabled Dad’s Daily

Not yet. My records request went out September 14, 2026, and was delivered 47 seconds later. The September 17 deadline passed with no response. My September 18 follow up got none either. As of September 19, 2026, the only things back are two delivery receipts.

  • Who: I addressed the Open Records Custodian at the State ADA Coordinator’s Office, within the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission, through the office’s group mailbox. Stacey Peace, State ADA Coordinator, is named in the request as a records custodian. Nobody was copied.
  • What: Ten categories of records covering the office’s contacts about ADA matters with the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia POST, and GIRMA, GMA and Gallagher Bassett since January 1, 2022. Fees were authorized up to $250, with 2026 records in categories 1, 2, 3, 7 and 9 asked for first.
  • When: Sent September 14, 2026, 5:59:33 PM Eastern and delivered at 6:00:20 PM. Response deadline: September 17, 2026. Follow up sent September 18 at 4:59:31 PM, delivered at 4:59:43 PM.
  • How: Both emails produced delivery receipts and nothing else. The follow up did not amend, narrow, replace or restart the September 14 request. For comparison: on May 14, 2026, this same office answered my thank you note in 54 minutes.
  • Status: No response as of September 19, 2026. A separate preservation confirmation was requested by September 28, 2026, and remains open.
