Why The City Clerk’s Office Portal Account is On ADAMATTERS.COM:
The closing spree. On March 6 and March 9, 2026, the City Clerk’s office portal account closed 36 of my open records requests in two bursts, each in under seven minutes, because I had not agreed to pay a fee estimate. Sixteen went out on March 6 in six minutes and fifty seconds. Twenty followed on March 9 in five minutes and thirty eight seconds.
- Twenty closed in under six minutes. On March 9, 2026, starting at 1:01 PM, the account sent me twenty closure notices in five minutes and thirty eight seconds. The notices gave the reason in these words: my request “has been marked complete due to lack of approval of provided estimate.” In plain words, the City closed each request because I had not agreed to pay its fee estimate.
- Sixteen closed in under seven minutes. On March 6, 2026, starting at 8:49 AM, the account sent sixteen more closure notices for the same reason in six minutes and fifty seconds. The 36 closures on March 6 and March 9 are counted from my mail record of October 16, 2026.
has been marked complete due to lack of approval of provided estimate.
