State Bar of Georgia

  • April 10, 2026: The Bar dismissed the grievance on the stated basis that no rebuttal was received.
  • April 21, 2026: The Bar admitted in writing that the February 3 and February 20 submissions were received, misclassified, and not in the file when the dismissal was reviewed.
  • April 30, 2026: A Senior Assistant General Counsel identified himself as ADA Coordinator for the reconsideration.
  • May 4, 2026: The Bar granted written only communication and accessible format, and offered to pause the review only if requested.
  • May 12, 2026: A Deputy General Counsel wrote that the Bar is not a public entity subject to the ADA.
  • May 14, 2026: Written notice that the planned surgery was postponed, with the ADA Coordinator copied.
  • May 29, 2026: The Bar stated its position that it is not subject to Title II.
  • June 10, 2026: The Bar referenced recovery from a surgery that had been reported postponed.
  • June 16 to 17, 2026: The Bar pointed back to the same form and stated a grievance could be filed as a self generated document.
  • June 17, 2026: A grievance was filed against the Senior Assistant General Counsel, using that self generated document method.
  • June 18, 2026: The Bar confirmed receipt with a one word reply.
