• She screens grievances for a living, and a receipt for mine had to be pulled out of her three times. On May 4, 2026 the State Bar named Adrienne D. Nash to handle my file. On May 7 it wrote me: “Ms. Nash usually handles ADA requests for the grievance process”. I sent her my evidence on May 18 and asked for a receipt. I asked again May 20. I asked a third time May 21. Her first email to me came 17 days after she was named, at 5:25 PM on May 21. Read the three requests
• The silent treatment. Her last email to me from her own address was May 22, 2026, at 11:44 AM, 148 days ago as of October 17, 2026. After May 22, at least six of my emails were delivered to her. She answered none. Read the silence
• “Checking my email periodically.” At 7:07 PM on June 1, 2026 I copied her on a request for a grievance receipt. One minute later her mailbox replied: “I will be out of the office June 1-5, 2026. I will be checking my email periodically.” Read the automatic reply
• Her inbox, his answer. On June 16, 2026 the State Bar told me to “email it to Ms. Nash”. On June 17 I emailed her my grievance against John J. Shiptenko. She never answered. The only reply came from the lawyer the grievance was about: “Received.”
• A conveyor belt, with her signature on it. On June 30, 2026, between 4:23 PM and 4:35 PM, the State Bar emailed me six decision letters from an address that says “DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. THIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS NOT MONITORED.” Adrienne D. Nash signed two of them, at 4:24 PM and 4:26 PM. Each was copied to the lawyer it was about. Read the six letters
• She cleared a Bar insider. The one May 15 grievance the State Bar kept inside the Office of the General Counsel was about James R. Westbury, Jr., who I told the Bar “served two terms on this Bar’s Board of Governors”. Adrienne D. Nash signed its dismissal: “our office must dismiss the grievance.” It was copied to Westbury. • She can show her work when she wants to. Both of her June 30 letters stated a “clear and convincing evidence” standard and gave written reasons. The four same afternoon letters by Jeffrey W. DeLoach about lawyers inside her own office stated no evidentiary standard.
